Sharipova, Zebuniso Uzbekistan, Tashkent
Zebuniso Sharipova was born on August 19, 1967 and began her creative activity in Bukhara Uzbekistan. During her student/apprenticeship period she
participated in many exhibitions in the Republic. Since 1997 she has been a
member of the Creative Association of Artists of the Academy of Art of
Uzbekistan. Nowadays she is mainly engaged in painting portraits. A recent
exhibition titled "Khotirot" was dedicated to her mother. In Z. Sharipova's works
of art, hidden symbols, complex combination of colors and unordinary
compositions permit creation of an inner sense of harmony. In depicting reality, Zebuniso tries
to keep a shaky balance between two worlds - being and not being- by
techniques, which seem to be realistic at first sight, and filling the space
of her paintings with saturated intrinsic expressiveness. This is the harmony
created with unseen, unconscious lines that bridge the gap between two
worlds apart.
