Maria Aleksandrovna Li-Safi was born May 28 1971 in Tashkent City Uzbekistan.

1986- 1990 She attended the Republican Art College in Tashkent named after Benkov

1990-1996. She studied at the M. Uygur State Institute of Visual Art.

1997 Maria became a member of the Artistic Association of Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan

1998 - 2001 Maria taught in Tashkent at the K. Bekhzar Scientific Institute of National Arts and Design.

2001 - to date She teaches at the Republican School of Art.

I very like to work with children, and it brings me big pleasure. Besides that I work on decorative painting and exceptional drawing styles. I periodically participate in exhibitions. In 1997 and 2001 I had personal exhibitions of my paintings.

In 2000 I took part in the International Festival “Performance” in Korea.

My works are in museums and personal collections in Uzbekistan, Germany, Turkey, Korea, and India.

A few my works are printed in several International catalogues published in 2000 and 2001.

I work on book drawings too.
