Mark Ivanov was born in 1935 in Tashkent. Mark Alekseevich Ivanov graduated from Tashkent theater-artistic university in 1963 and followed his father path, Aleksey Ivanov, famous sculptor, national artist of Uzbekistan.
Since 1986 M. Ivanov is a member of Association of Artists, and since 1997 a member of Creative Association of Artists of Uzbekistan. His giant, memorable sculptured masterpieces embellish museums and city's squares of Uzbekistan. His work pieces made out of bronze, ceramic, and wood were presented locally and overseas (Germany, Mongolia, Turkey, and Canada) numerous times. By the resolution of the Ministry Cabinet #131 from 11/03/1997 creative workshop of M. Ivanov was purchased by him. In 2005 at the Central Show Hall on the exhibition called "Sculptures of Ivanov's Dynasty" Mark Ivanov's creative work was presented broader. His masterpieces were he managed to unite astonishing combination of bright, unique forms of carving with natural realistic essentials of carving, captured the viewer's attention.
